In an effort to increase efficient and cost-effective communication with providers and the public, beginning August 1, 2009, ODJFS will discontinue the use of paper transmittal letters. Please note that this policy change is reflected in OAC 5101:3-1-17.1, Notification of rule and program changes. According to this rule, before the effective date of the adoption, amendment, or rescission of a rule, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) shall make a reasonable effort to notify persons affected. “Reasonable effort” means posting the new or amended rule on the ODJFS website. Persons affected by a proposed rule change can also register to receive electronic communication of such changes by submitting their names and e-mail addresses to ODJFS.
